This show happened at “The Firehouse” in Birmingham, AL, on November 24th, 2025.

Terminal Man, a Birmingham punk band, blasted through a set that was an auditory rampage. No drawn-out intros or banter. The vocals stayed raw and urgent, while the guitars and drums kept everything locked in and moving fast. It was the kind of set that doesn’t ask for attention because it already has it: focused, forceful, and gone before you realize how hard it hit.
Refuse to Thrive, another Birmingham-based punk band, came in heavy from the first note. Their tight set was everything promised by the “whateverviolence” in their bio. Loud, gritty, and raw– The band didn’t waste time on ambience or long builds; each track hit quickly, tightened its grip, and dropped out just as fast. What made their set stand out was the execution: clean breaks, sharp turns, and lyrics that held their edge. Refuse to Thrive is a group that knows exactly what they’re aiming for and hits it dead on.
